Gomer Press Ltd is a family orientated firm and as such takes its social responsibilities very seriously. At no time has Gomer Press ever engaged in the use of slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.
Gomer Press fully supports and follows the guidelines as set out in the Modern Slavery Act (2015) in relation to:
– Slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour;
– Human trafficking;
– Exploitation
Gomer Press expect the same level of social responsibility from all partners in our supply chain who must adhere to the above Modern Slavery Act (2015).
Gomer sources its products from suppliers based in Europe. Occasionally we must source materials from outside of the EU. We acknowledge that modern slavery and human trafficking are global issues and may be hidden in complex supply chains.
We require that suppliers provide a Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement to ensure they comply with the relevant laws and regulations in their country.
Employees have access to our policies regarding whistleblowing and can raise any concerns that they may have regarding the supply chain. All concerns are treated seriously and handled discreetly.
Staff training and awareness on modern slavery and human trafficking is managed internally. The Board of Directors will be responsible for the implementation of this policy, providing the necessary resources to ensure its application and compliance throughout the year.
Gomer Press will comply with all applicable legal requirements and will ensure the implementation of all new rules and regulations as they are introduced.
